Jimmy James Eaton is an award winning, rising star in Australian comedy, acting and improvisation.As a comedian, actor, writer, presenter, voice over artist and one half of sketch comedy duo Sketch-ual Healing, Jimmy is a dynamic, versatile performer with one of the sharpest minds on the scene.
Jimmy has toured Australia and Europe, having performed in the Melbourne, Sydney and Perth International Comedy Festivals as well as Edinburgh and London.
Jimmy has presented for numerous TV programs including ABC TV’s Tonic and How The Quest Was Won and he was also a presenter for Channel V and NOVA Radio. Jimmy has performed in numerous theatre and TV productions and is currently working on his first animated feature film Maya The Bee.
Jimmy is the founder and current Artistic Director of the weekly live improvised comedy show, The Big HOO-HAA Melbourne in which he performs weekly. He is also the head producer and writer on the monthly live sketch comedy show Impro-Sketch. Jimmy won the 2009 National Theatre Sports Australian championships and was awarded “Best and Fairest”. He was crowned the Jester’s Pies 2010 Comedy Cup Champion and was a Triple J Raw Comedy National Finalist in 2007.
